I must have insulted one of the neighborhood vandals.
About a week ago, somebody put a hole in the garden hose I use to water my tree.
I used it anyway.
Then someone bent the flag on my mailbox back on itself, so it is no longer usable
Then yesterday, since I used the hose with the hole in it anyway, they just cut the hose in two about a foot from the faucet.
I am starting to dread what I might find next.

I'm still "hooked" on the prairie star afghan.
I am realizing how spatially challenged I am.
Have had to frog a lot.
I can't finish it until April as I changed the color scheme after I ordered the yarn, and don't have enough of one color. I ordered more, but Herschners has it on back order until early April.

Trying to change another human being is as futile as trying to teach a pig to sing.
You won't get music, and you will irritate the pig.

Prairie Star Afghan
I took on doing this as a challenge, and it sure has been.
Moral of the story is not to try challenges when I am short on sleep.
I do all sorts of interesting things that way.
Sometimes I spend more time "frogging" than I do crocheting.

Mottoes to Live By

Some people live by the motto:
"Anything worth doing is worth doing well."
My father lived his life by the motto:
"Anything worth doing is worth doing perfectly."
I've lived my life by the motto:
"Anything worth doing is worth overdoing."

I'm really slow at learning to do this. Took me 4 days to figure out how to get here. Was talking with Wheat on line about ADD, and she pointed out that we are often creative, because when most people find an answer, they quit, but our minds just keep going.
I remember from some time ago, in a workshop, I think it was Dr Carla Hannaford, who said that ADD people have a cingulate gyrus in their brain that doesn't shut off. In most people, that part of the brain becomes active only when we are switching from one task to another. So the ADD person is, in effect, always between tasks.

My first post

Just learning how to do this. I'm taking a break from my latest "frogging". (That's as in "rip-it, rip-it, rip-it") Was trying to make a long cape for a friend, didn't like the way the bottom 10 or 15 rows looked, so frogged them and am starting over.
